All wood reacts to sunlight, humidity, temperature and can vary slightly in grain pattern and colouration. The woods structure and colour will evolve over time. To avoid cracks and other damage, wood/wood veneer should not be placed close to direct heat sources or in humid environments. Wipe your wooden product with a wrung-out cloth that had been immersed in a solution of soap and water. Dry off immediately with a clean cloth. Do not scrub as this can damage the grain and leaving the surface patchy. Oil treated wood is recommended to be oiled once or twice a year, or whenever the wood looks particularly dry.
