Use only warm soap water when cleaning the chair. Use a hard wrung cloth and dry immediately with a soft dry cloth. Collector Dining Chair is made of lacquered Oak. If the surface of the wood dries out you might be able to restore its original glow using rapeseed oil. Apply a fine layer of rapeseed oil to the product, dry immediately afterwards. The wood is likely to get a slightly darker colortone after applying oil. Please test on a small part of the chair before applying rapeseed oil to the entire unit. Make sure not to apply oil onto the leather seating. If in doubt, please consult a professional for advice on how to treat the wood. Aniline leather is the most natural looking leather, the unique surface characteristics of the animal hide remains visible. Hence, a degree of natural marks and shade variationis is to be expected. Stains will become visible if not cleaned off immediately and the color of the leather will change over time.
